Housed centrifugal fans are non-overloading,
double width, double inlet (DWDI), air foil blade design. Fans are AMCA 210
performance certified.

Utilize plug fans in the pressurized plenum
concept and provide multiple duct take-offs in crowded equipment rooms.
This type of arrangement is an excellent choice for blow-through applications
because of the low velocity pressure generated.

Forward curved fans with inlet vanes provide a
cost-effective means of variable air volume control while maintaining quiet, low RPM
characteristics inherent in the design.

Heavy structural steel isolation bases exceed the
requirements of seismic applications.
|
Concrete inertia bases feature a continuously-welded 14ga.
pan, structural channel iron and 1/2" rebar welded on 12" centers.
|
Fan shafts are solid turned, ground and polished C1040 steel
rated at a maximum RPM below critical speed. All shafting is "ring gauged"
for a precision fit in bearing journals to reduce fretting. Fan wheels and sheaves
are keyed to the shaft.

Damper blades feature a zinc-plated tubular steel square
shaft to eliminate actuator slippage. Hollow extruded aluminum damper blades reduce air
resistance. Damper linkages are concealed within the 16 ga.G-90
galvanized steel frame. Non-corrosive 1" O.D. nylon bearings assure long life
and reduce required actuator torque. Stainless steel, spring arc jam seals are standard and
mechanically bonded sanoprene rubber blade edge seals minimize leakage.

These twin plug fans are equipped with the patented
Vari-Cone fan
volume control device...the perfect answer for VAV systems. Just like having a
"new width" fan wheel every time the system static pressure changes, the
Vari-Cone creates no turbulence to add noise or use extra energy at wide open
volume. Because the device can be shut off to "zero air flow" it works
perfectly for redundant systems with multiple fan
